shop and scan: food on the go update!

well after reading everyones posts & seeing as i`ve been a member of shopand scan for ages, i thought i`d be cheeky & email them about food on the go. i`ve asked them how do i get an invite - if you don`t ask, you don`t get!:money: will let you know how i get on

I've sorted it out and I can now shop on the go. Just one more question, do you get your points allocated on a Monday, because I don't seem to have been sent a confirmation email so far?

I rang to ask what was happening as I'm still receiving cash and they said not every1 will change over to points so I would keep on receiving cash

I'm a member of shop and scan but not food on the go. I emailed them to ask if/how I could join and have had a reply saying that I have to be invited and there is no recruitment for it scheduled. Gutted!

Hi Loonytunes i also emailed them a couple of weeks ago and a really nice guy phoned me and said that i will automatically be invited on the next recruitment drice which he says will be about August as that is when they clear out people who haven't been texting and invite new people! Alot of the stuff i buy a week is snacks while i'm out but i just put them through my normal clicker for now:o I know the extra points would be great eh?;)

What's Food on the Go? Is it part of Shop n Scan?

Hi Sol00, Yes food on the go is part of shop n scan(run by the same company)but you send them texts with the barcodes/where you bought the food/price etc of the snack foods you eat while out of the house ie Sandwichs,crisps,juice,ready made pasta dishes/salads etc i'm not a member of food on the go but i've heard the points are quite good and they get added onto your rewards with shop and go! I think there is a set amount of points a week plus so many points for every text you send!! I contacted them about this a few weeks ago and they aren't recruiting just now but the guy said you get an invite to join when there is vacancies and take it from there!!:D Hope that helps a bit if you need anymore info there is a good few people on here do it regularly!!:) (lucky devils lol!!)

Thanks Lynneand1 I've just applied for shop n scan so I'll ask them to let me know when they're recruiting for Food on the Go as well.
