They have increased the number of points availabe thro food on the go!

1000 points for every week that you send us a snacking text

Plus 200 extra points per snacking text* (first 20 texts only)

A maximum of 5000 points is available per week

If you only send a "Nothing Bought" text you will receive 500 points for that week
The text is now a free phone number!!!

I think this is per user of food on the go?

so its now £5 or £10 a week!! £20 or £40 a month! :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer:

I do shop and scan but have never heard of food on the go, how do you get onto this please?

I think it is shop and scan, whenyouscanyou snacks in a little red book when you are out. Food on the go is a different thing altogether. You can't join Food on the go you are asked to join personally.

But surely they have halved the allowance not increased it, they used to give 1000 points per text and you were allowed a maximum of 40,000 a month (that's what I have been receiving for nearly three years), are they saying it's now only £20 a month max?

you get invited if you are already doing the normal shop and scan!

I agree with you - it was up to £40 a month? Free texts is the only bonus - never text in saying I haven't brought nothing though.

humm i not quite sure. i am only new to shop and scan, for a year.

There are two of us on food on the go, so we got 2000 points. so i'm quite happy now we get more points per week.

Just had an email from food on the go saying:


"Thank you for continuing to be a valued member of Shopandscan and for texting in your snacking purchases as part of Food On The Go.
We've made some changes to Food On The Go, so you can potentially earn much more rewards and save yourself some money with our new free text number."

So they are saying you can earn more than before.
