What ISA?

Hi,
I have just invested £3k in the Icesave cash ISA. I was planning to invest in a stock and shares ISA aswell to use up the rest of my £7k allowance, but have read that you can't do this as you can't take out a mini and a maxi ISA in the same year. Is that correct? Can I use the rest of my allowance in any other way? All advice much appreciated!

The cash ISA is a mini isa, so you can still invest 4K in a mini stocks and shares ISA.Debbie0
