    OK, I come round to your POV. If it's a warranty claim, the insurance should be charged to the manufacturer along with the cost of the repairs under warranty.

    yeah we won!!! (only with marky mark though not the garage)

    ok as youre all intrigued the problem is...when you indicate and brake at the same time the rear fog light comes on, sometimes (but this has stopped at the moment touch wood) when you indicate right and brake the rear windscrean wiper starts.

    its a character traight now - bit like herbie!!

    unfortunately thats just dodgy electrics.

    Definitely jippy electrics and one of those things that you definitely need to get looked at. Unfrotunately it is one of those things that could take 5 minutes to fix or several hours (particularly if it is intermittent).

    I am still not necessarily convinced about the insurance bit though. Surely that all depends on the the wording of the warranty - maybe it specifically excludes the cost of replacement or loan vehicles - strangely enough I have never read mine. When you think about, by offering a loan car, garages may already be paying out quite a bit - considering it costs about 40p per mile to run a car. I guess it is one of things that we will have to put up with.

    just gotta mention my dodgy car grand scenic 10mths old the most loudest back brakes in the world.... louder than a double decker bus.... but!!! its a characteristic of the car.... benfields words not ours , they are reluctant to touch it only cos they are scared to admit they dont know what to do to rectify it, as they have changed pads discs etc... but its going back in next friday dont know what'll happen then, :mad:
