Has anyone used ther Clubcard vouchers towards car servicing?
If I have £20 worth vouchers I can get £80 off a full service with Nationwide Autocentre? Is this for real?0 -
we just used £130 tesco deal vouchers in goldsmiths the jewelers the wife got a £99 d.g watch reduced to £66 a bracelet and 2 sets of earrings, the only problem is you can't use tesco deals on sale items but we spent £30 and got a credit note went back the next day and used the credit note on the sale d&g watch ... the wife is so happy :xmassign:0

Re Tesco points.
As I don't want to go to Chessington Zoo,Eurostar anywhere, paint balls and I am frightfully healthy(not) I still think using vouchers instore is a discount off the bill.
It may be less value but £7 off a bill is still £7.
Or am I missing the point?

Maybe a relation could use them instead and give you the money? That's what I do with my father he has the cash and I send off for the goods. This may not work with all items especially if you have different addresses.
But as you say any money off is good!0 -

I use mine for RAC cover too - something that costs a fortune normally! Magazine subs are also good, for yourself or as pressies.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

Good to see other people using the deals. Have spent ours on Fitness First membership x 2, servicing and MOT with Nationwide, RAC membership, P&O ferry crossings. If you find something you need that you can use them for, do so. It has saved us a fortune. Looking at buying some MFI goods next!!0

Hi there - my first post so please be gentle! I am wondering if anyone can clarify for me the situation about using vouchers with other people's names on them. I remember somewhere something about it depended on whether the deal code began with an S or a D or something (?). I know you cannot use other people's clubcard vouchers for airmiles as you have to have your own named account but not sure about everything else. Any guidance would be appreciated and I will endeavour to thank all posts!0 -

yeah...the catch is a service with nationwide is £139 - £159 (paying with tesco club card vouchers) i know i could get mine serviced and mot for £100 if i payed cash to a local garage so its just swings and roundabouts...i m waiting for february's mailing before i service mine so i have enough for the whole amount...0 -

Hi hum_lovely, from what I know is that smaller deals such as theme park admission etc don't have the name on whereas when we had our £1,000 worth of Tesco vouchers for MFI they all had our surname on and the sales assistant checked each one to see if it matched. I know that there was alot of clubcard vouchers being sold on ebay and that Tescos were stamping down on this by ensuring that the details matched the claim form and the vouchers. BTW I have PM'd you. :rotfl:I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL
