    if you go to chirk, why not plod on another 10 minutes down the A5 to LLANGOLLEN, well worth a visit, a nice stroll along the river with an ice cream is lovely. then if you have some energy to burn take a walk up dinas bran (route is easy, climb moderate, should take 30 minutes) when you get to the top the views are well worth it.
    after this take a drive up the horseshoe pass,make sure you take a couple of stops to look down the valley, beautiful

    keep going and follow signs for chester for a country return home, or turn around and head back to LLAN and follow signs for wrexham

    theres lots more to do and see around here than cheshire blinkin oats
