Cheapest credit card re-paying 2% a month

Hello.
I have been posting on the debt free site but need to ask a credit card question. For 'operational reasons' (!!) I need to find the cheapest credit card where I pay back 2% a month, or less. Texaco is one, British Airways Amex and Platinum Amex are 3%, however. Any suggestions? I have been looking but no conclusions so far. I would appreciate your help.

Hi K,
I believe that most (all?) of the MBNA cards only require a £5 minimum payment each month - which is likely to be preferable to 2%. How about the Virgin 0% for 9 months card?

Thanks so much for taking the trouble to post.
Virgin ask 2.25 per month. I think (correct me if I am wrong) it's actually a percentage of the debt with £5 being the minimum.
Thanks again!0 -
AFAIK for all 9-months 0% cards in this new table min payment is 2.25% of current ballance.0

Thanks so much for this! Most useful.
What about low interest cards without a 0% promo offer? What is the cheapest card after Texaco and Amex?0 -
Hi K,
If you look at the Ts&Cs for Virgin you will see that it says lesser of at the top of the options for payments. So, during the 0% period and provided that you don't incur any charges, the payment will be £5.

Richie you're a star. Thanks so much for correcting my misapprehension on that.

For info I have discovered that Halifax One is 2% as is LLoyds (was it Lloyd's - this was looked up pre-migraine and now I am hazy!). Anyway Halifax One looks better. Pity that after the 0% period the APR is so high. Any other suggestions out there?0
