Has anybody used online system to send a meter reading to Anglian?

We had an extension built last year so must have used loads of water. The last bill (February) was an estimate, I've paid it but mislaid it. With the news that the bills are going up by 5.9% from April, we read the meter last Sunday and I used the online form on their website to send them a meter reading. I couldn't find my account number either (house is still a mess!), but filled in the rest of the details including my address and the form on their site accepted what I put in.

I haven't had a bill yet, I'm concerned they didn't get the reading. Has anybody submitted a volutary reading - do you know how long it would take for a bill to come through?

You are best off giving them a ring, bills are usually pretty quick to come through , im pretty sure it involves someone manually inputting the reading and producing a bill rather than automatically ,there could be a large backlog as alot of meters have been estimated recently and i presume alot of customer readings have been sent in.
