husband said he has avg to stop people getting our info through emails and trojan checking isnt showing anything up.
omg how do these freaks do this and what gives tham the right.
just found 148 infections, tracking cookies a highjacker browser, just found tonight. one site says theres nothing on our computer but spyware doctor has found loads of stuff. guess we just found the problem.
Differant antivirus will pick up differant virus's I dont have one that runs live but i do have 5 that run at differant time throughout the night say 1am 2am 3 am and one at 5am not had any problems for a while.
be wary about the ones on websites that find loads then want £19 to get rid they are scams.

I don't think paypal is particularly secure. My wife had her account hacked into recently. Paypal spotted it before we did and refunded straight away. I'm not a big fan of paypal at all and their buyer protection scheme proved to be a sham when I needed it. In all likelihood it is nothing to do with a virus or trojan on your PC, but insecurities in the paypal system.'Lose' - as in "I hate to lose" only has one 'o'.
'Loose' - as in 'Loose change' is not the same word!0 -
I'll move this to the Warnings & Rip-Offs Board
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.0 -
I think a discussion with your bank manager is called for. Take copies of all the relevant details and if possible screen shots of the paypal pages. they may be able to help with a case of fraud, failing that speak to PC Plod.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
