It sounds like you haven't locked the tin in place, put it in and turn it to lock it.0

i dont know how to lock it its square so i cant really turn it ...... any clue on how eles i can lock it?0
-
Ok you need to look at the underside of the bread square pan.
UNderneath there there is a slot cut out. When you put the pan in the machine, there is a round mecanism. Lay the tin on the round bit and push down and tist.
The wire handle should be bending to clip it in . It makes a loud click noise.
HTH:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

it does click into place.
It's probably the compact breadmaker but if you look here you should recognise it - then click the product, go to downloads, and you will be able to download the instructions
There is a thread also with a basic recipe if you need it here - I'll merge your thread laterA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

I use a morphy richards, if you look on the rear of the machine you will see an information plate, this will have the model number on it, then quite simply google that!! worked for me and got instruction manual and recipes.
Failing that contact the morphy richards website and they will e-mail a copy of the manual.
Make sure when you put the tin into the breadmaker you have the word ""front" (printed on the top rim of the tin) to the front! Then push down hard and it will "clunk" into place, needs a wee bit of pressure.
any problems PM me and I will e-mail you my manual, they must be basically the same. Happy baking0 -
Hi Hob, go to google, type in "Morphy richards 48230 manual" and it will take you to the correct page, and just select "get this manual" simples
This is the fastbake manual as well as non-fastbake.
Hope this helps0 -
I was given a morphy richards breadmaker last week:j
I bought a lidle sunflower bread mix and followed instructions and made a horrible spongy loaf which i chucked away:mad:
Today i followed the instructions with the breadmaker for a basic white loaf and got a full size loaf but its spongy which is a texture i don't like ---HELP surely its not supposed to be like this?! Maybe thats why they gave it away hahaha!! I really want a panasonic but cant afford one,,I figured i should be able to get a decent loaf out of this though,,where am i going wrong i followed the recipe and measured out exactly,,sooo frustrated :-(Life happens when you are busy making other plans

I have always made bread by hand and love the first warm crusty slice but this white bm loaf seems to need to cool to give the same bread effect,,,so ignore my last post i am off to make fruit bread!!
i can feel a stone coming on my hips !!Life happens when you are busy making other plans

More of a question, I was just wondering if you could use half milk/half water instead of the powdered milk when making bread in the M R breadmaker. Is there a reason why you have to use the powdered milk, just wondering?0
