Hi folks
We'd like to sort out getting a magazine article sitting in a pdf file.
My wife had the artcle written about her business for an inflight magazine, but we've been unable to get hold of the 'original' from the publisher/magazine.
We're able to scan it, but have no idea of how to convert it to a pdf file for her website.
Looking forward to our thoughts, ideas and suggestions.

Use Google to search for "jpeg convert pdf". There might be something there to suit you.

There are a few freeware PDF converters out there, try this one PDF995 it installs a virtual printer and anything that you print to this printer will be saved as a PDF.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

If you are using an Apple Mac you simply select
File -> Print -> save as PDF0 -

PDF995 claims to convert PDF to JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PCX formats. Will it perform image format to PDF conversion?

Two steps on this Linux box:
File -> Print -> save as PS
Then use ps2pdf.

If you use Open office, it will convert to pdf0

I'd recommend PDF Creator. I used to use PDF995 but prefer Creator as there is no advertising with it.0
