Anyone have a w910i?
Options
Thinking of buying the phone. I've googled and read a ton of reviews and it all seems good. But I'd rather hear from people who actually have the phone and have used it daily, not just reviewers testing for a few hours.
Basically I'm looking to find out what the battery is like? What the camera is like? Any big annoying issues with the phone?
Thanks for any info.

I am a retailer and I now refuse to sell the W910i.
Nothing but problems with them. Especially network branded ones.
They keep locking up and you have to take battery out and put back in to get it working hopefully.
Better off with the W890i.
3.2mp camera. 2gb m2 memory card included. No problems so far.
With 3g switched on you get a day standby. Turn off 3g to get double the battery life.0 -

Thanks for the reply. What about the unlocked one? Do they seem any better?
Sadly I don't like the look of the W890i, looking for s slide phone.Sigless0 -
I've had mine 4 months, absolutly fine, not a single problem. Battery lasts me 2 days (with music on about 3 hours a day, and gaming that time as well as about 10 mins of calls a day and about 10 texts a day), camera is not that bad, if you wish to see examples of pics, pm me, i'll send you a link, but there are known problems with the phone, I think i'm just lucky. The w890 would be a much better choice though
.
Oh, and mine is an unlocked w910i.~*Cerenia*~

My colleague is on her third w910i from Orange. The phone keeps developing problems, including switching itself off randomly, failing to vibrate and freezing. I have to say it's surprising considering the consistently high standard of most of their 'phones.0

Thanks for the replies. I'm undecided now lol. Guess I'll think about it some more, have a look around and see if there's any different phones I like before deciding to buy it or not.Sigless0

Sometimes there are batches of bad phones.
My friend has this phone and so far never had any problems with it. Best thing is check the reviews in a search engine google it with the word review at the end.
Hope that helps.0 -
Thanks for the reply. I spent hours googling reviews, problem there is you either get a review, from a reviewer who's tested the phone for a few hours/days, or a user who gives it zero out of ten and leaves a message like 'Terrible phone'. Very few sites with actual user opinions. That's why I thought I'd ask here, see if anyone who actually has one could advise.Sigless0

I have this phone had it for about 2months, bought it on orange payg because i wanted red one, nightmare to get it unlocked as i'm on o2 wanted to still use my contract sim cost me £40 to get unlocked and debranded, the phone itself has a few problems if in my pocket for a few hours it overheats and switches off, and won't switch on till cools down :-( removing battery helps the process along. music wise it's ok much has been made about shake and shuffle feature but i'm not overly impressed as you still have to press a button to get it to work and give it a good shake.
The sony ericsson web site do not make it easy to down load new items to your phone which is a down side especially if you want to add other feature like google map ect.
I have had about 6 phones in the last year (i know ridiculous) but i liked the look of this one and i had w810i and w880i previously so went with w910i but i think i wouldn't recommend this as for the money i know there is better phones out there.
texting is easy and not phone sensitive like samsung u600 g800.
Hope this helps you make a decision0
