Broken Ford Focus wing mirror

Some lout broke the wing mirror on the passenger side of my ford focus (pure vandalism - was facing the pavement!). Its a manual one. Only the mirror is smashed.

Doesn't look too difficult to replace. Any idea where I could get one? I've checked Halfords and Kwik Fit and both said no (and were pretty unhelpful!)

Do you have a dismantlers near by? We do and they stock many car parts. If not it will be just have to be your Ford garage.

A used mirror from a scrappy will be about a tenner.

Hmmm surprised halfords said no, I have a ford galaxy and have bought a replacement mirror from there. Ford wanted an unbelievable amount of £24 for just the glass, it was £6 at Halfords. The wing mirror itself was ok just the glass broken. Halfords have a section for mirrors with a guide that tells you which one to buy to fit your car. Good luck

Ebay is the best bet. My dad got his electric mirror off there for a fraction of the price, then got his local garage to fit it!

A Ford Focus is a common car, so it shouldn't be too expensive!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

if its just the mirror -- you can get these stick on glass panels for about 5pound just the mirror glass... and stick it over the broken one -- ask in your local car parts shop -- dont go to halfords they'll just charge you a fortune for being open on a Sunday and sell you the same thing -- ask the local youths who thrash about in their cars -- they'll know where your local parts shop is.. otherwise -- breakeryard.com et al will defo send you something for 10-15quid!

    Good luck!
