I no longer want to be in this PEP. Do I have to withdraw my money or can I transfer into a ISA?

Good decision to get out. Virgin is a poor choice of manager.
You much not withdraw the money. You transfer it by asking the new provider (typically a fund supermarket nowadays) to provide a transfer application.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). If you are going DIY then hargreaves lansdown is the main one to look at. Others are available through IFAs if you want advice.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). dunstonh and meester - thank you. :T Most helpful, I'm getting out of virgin PEP asap - especially with the volitility of the stock market just now. I think I will be transferring my fund to HL - probably as cash into their Vantage PEP while I decide what to invest in - is this a good idea?0

Yes....
As you say volatility is a problem, but transferring it can't hurt0
