Hi, I've been trying to log onto NWBS website to see more information on this savings account but it keeps throwing me off - probably my PC
Does anyone have more info about it - does a bond mean you are tied in for a number of years?
Cheers

They're offering a 1 and 2 year fixed rate ISA @ 6.15%. You can transfer previous ISA's into it. Don't know why they're "updating their leaflet". Penalties for early withdrawal were 90 or 120 days depending on the term you choose. Don't know if that'll change with the new leaflet.0

Interesting thread.............. Transferred me mums Nationwide ISA's in to a mixture of their fixed rate 1 & 2 year deals and the end of last year. We (she) is still waiting confirmation of the switch.

Forms can be handed in at a branch. with ID certified by branch for non Nationwide Customers, or forms gained from either branch or requested online/and sent to ISA office in Swindon.
Under ISA ( 3rd down) Wombat.

An alternative, 0.05% less, excellent service from experience. ( no transfers in)

Nationwide slightly concerns me " Please bear in mind that the fixed rate ISA bond rate may have changed by the time the funds are received by the Nationwide"
Please allow up to 30 days for transfer to complete!
Nice they back date interest, but little consolation if you get caughtout with the above:eek:0 -
I think the problem with the transfer delay is not with Nationwide but with the provider the ISA is being transferred from. I was warned about a probable six week delay with one I set up last year. Clearly the old ISA provider who is making money out of your funds has incentive not to hurry.0
