Im a texter...

Right... Im currently on 02 PAYG Text Online where when you top up so much money you get free texts and 1mb of internet. E.g: £30 credit gets me 1000 texts.

I preferably want to stay on 02 PAYG (or a short term contract where im not tied into for a year or more).

What's the best way to get as many texts as cheapily as possible because i tend to text a lot of people rather than talk. However I do occasionally ring my parents etc.

Any suggestions are acceptable :)

Cheers!

o2 do 400 mins and 1000 texts on a 30 day contract for £20. Other networks do unlimited texts on 30 day contracts for the same. SIM only contracts hence the short terms.

Another option is o2's new retail tariff - £15/month on an 18 month term for unlimited texts (no minutes so you'd be billed per minute for calls) and a handset.
  • Thanks i willl have a look at that :)- and what deals the other networks do as my friend has just got a job with a rival :P lol

    Good work Kilty!

T-Mobile are £20 for an unlimited text plan with X hundred minutes, as are Orange. Both SIM only with 30 day contract.

I'm looking for a SIM only contract at the moment as it happens :rotfl:

I think the cheapest Orange one with unlimited texts is £15 a month. I'm sorely tempted by it myself.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

i am just reading these posts with interest, unlimited texts??? what -2000,4000,6000, is the clue in the question. surely there must be a limit even though they say 'unlimited' and could you kick up a right stink if they say you are using toooooo many texts:confused:

    From Orange's Ts and Cs:
The Offers are subject at all times to a fair usage policy of 3000 minutes or texts (as appropriate) each month. Usage above this amount will constitute abuse and Orange may monitor usage and withdraw the Offer from your account if the fair usage policy is abused.
  • 3000 texts isnt that much really is it?? my daughter could get through that in a couple of weeks..
