I found it hard tell OH that I had £5k so i cannot begin to imagine how you were feeling. On the plus side, at least you didn't leave it till the debt collectors appeared.
I can see where the OP are coming from. Maybe she has sought legal advice etc before suggesting buying you out but on the other hand maybe the legal advice was given to avoid you both being made homeless.
Do you have any kids? I have to say that if this happened to me i would probably suggest the same but only because i wouldn't want it t o get any worseOfficial DFW nerd no 551 - proud to be dealing with my debts
