Mark123 post recently that his limit is being reduced from £22,500 to £500 by FD. My highest CC limit is £15,900 with MBNA. What size is yours?

The American Express Centurion Card is limitless!
Unfortunately, you have to spend over £100k per year on a standard AMEX Charge Card and pay nearly £1k per year to get one - Even then you have to be invited.
If you've got a high income and don't mind hefty fees, there are a few No Limit Cards - I heard of one woman who ran up over £500k in one night's Internet gambling on one!0 -

Basically I had a 0% promotional rate, so maxed the card out.
After the promotional rate expired I asked them if they could provide a "repeat" deal. However they declined. Having a 17K limit unused could have made it difficult for me to get a large credit limit with another provider (and at the same time get another 0% promotional rate) so I decided to close it and free up that 17K on my credit report to hopefully make use somewhere else.0 -
£1000 on HSBC, prior to that £250 on Aqua and Vanquis.
I might as well have left this post blank and just pointed to my signature...

Had a Virgin Card at £25k at the same time as a Cap One of £17k
All gone now I am glad to say. Now I am just skint but not paying a fortune in interest.0
