Need New Phone - As Cheap As
All it needs to be able to do is make and receive calls and text messages.
Not worried about MMS, Video, Camera etc as I only use rarely and I carry for emergencies etc.
Found this http://www.virginmobile.com/mobile/cms/view-page?page=SIE-STD-A65-1
£29.99 with £15 airtime.
Hopefully nothing hidden, couldn't see anything.
If it really is as simple as that, I can't believe their is anything better, but if anyone knows of anything, please let me know
Thanks

Excellent, thanks!
Saw that on the site originally and said £29.99 reduced to £9.99, went to order and it said £29.99, but that route on the thread stays at £9.990 -

That's the phone I put in my first post, but with £15 airtime.
Sounds like you like it and as long as it's easy to use, I will too.
3p to Virgin mobiles sounds great! (Only I don't think I know anyone on aVirgin mobile :rotfl: )0 -

Buy this through http://www.rpoints.com to get £2.50 cashback and you will have the phone with £25 airttime and £0.51 profit! (On Virgin website go to 'Latest offers', then 'Save with our great student discounts' ...):D0 -
As the poster is looking for the cheapest possible way to buy this phone it seems necessary to at least mention using quidco if he's already a member.
I admit that for a single purchase quidco will not work out cheaper, however if he's already a member and earned above £5 in cashbacks I encourage him to use quidco as then he will save more money onthis purchase. Note that your first £5 of cashbacks, (all of your cashback on this purchase) would be deducted as a one off payment for quidco if it were the case that you're a new user.
Also the post above mine is an virgin referral post, one that does not declare the income generated through the rpoints referral who are a virgin affiliate.
In this case they earn £2.50 for your purchase and this has not been declared. Whilst I understand this is not a personal referrer, if you look at the previous posts of the user on this board, he has a clear interest in this site and therefore I believe this is somewhat an infringement of the referral rules.1. Links to companies. If someone is repeatedly linking to one other company/website, then this can be seen as spam even if the link is not a referral link. Sometimes it is difficult to know whether the person doing it has a versted interest (they may even own the site), so if someones posts disproportionately link to one other site (let's be honest, this is currently happening with quidco links), then that will be assumed to be a referral link and they will be asked to stop.
Granted I prefer mse users use quidco whereever possible and it can be argued that I'm infringing on these rules, however it can also be argued that I'm not doingso for financial gain of quidco.
It's alot harder to argue that the rpoints referrer is not making these rpoints refernces for financial gain as he's able to generate income through the site in one way or another.
It's also clear from this thread that your rules are not flexible enough to allow MSE users to save the maximum amount of money in a seamless manner however I as many others are appreciative of your efforts.0 -
