hi,

i recently signed up for an 18 month o2 contract through these guys with the promise of a free 32" hd tv (to be sent 28 days after connection).
the phone arrived the next day as promised and a couple days later i double checked the website for any small print that they could possibly use to avoid giving me the tv and found this

All the items that form part of your offer will be listed on your invoice, this includes cashback scheme, gifts or additional accessories.

but when i checked the itemised sales invoice there is no mention of the tv!
i have tried numerous times to call them and emailed them twice but no reply.
having read several reviews of others having problems i'm starting to get pretty worried.
i have had the phone for 4 days and obviously used it.
what options do i have?
surely if they break the contract by not giving me the tv then i can cancel it without penalty?
just don't really trust these guys and don't want to get stuck in a long expensive contract for nothing.
thanks
i am pleased to report your i.q test came back negative

I've used them before and received all the cashback I was entitled to. The cashback was listed on my invoice, so something has gone wrong with yours. Never had any problems with getting through to them by phone. I went with them because they are (were when I used them) owned by Carphone Warehouse, so less chance of them going down the pan like some companies giving cash back did. Keep on trying and take a screen dump of the offer from their web site as proof, in case they change it.
