Agree with Debt-Free-Chick, this is just a blip in the long term.
Ideas 1 Hire a skip and get friends round for a clean-up party.
2 Get one room clean redecorated and put your furniture in, then when you are feeling down go there, shut the door and think that one day the whole house will be like this.
3 Break jobs to do into manageable chunks.
Good luck.0 -
Congratulations on getting your house. Such a shame it turned into a nightmare for you, but with a bit of elbow grease it will turn into your own gleaming palace!0

You sound like you got stuck in the middle of an argument that wasn't yours. Congratulations on the purchase of your home and may all go well in the future.

- I didn't buy a repossessed house, I bought as a normal purchase from a normal vendor.
- If the vendor had been more honest during the process it would have been quicker all round, and not got to repossession.
-They have not lost their home they completed on a purchase the same day.
- Being as I said that I was at aloss having no working phone number for the vendor, how does that suggest I wanted to sell their goods?
And sarcasm is undoubtedly the lowest form of 'wit'.
You're taking this so seriously you don't seem to have read everything in context and have completely missed my point. I'm not attacking you in any way shape or form and I'm certainly not suggesting that you intended to steal anything. I just wanted to highlight the other side of the situation based on what had been said by you and others at the time I made my original comment. You've told us a lot more since then and I've commented on that too. I offer my best wishes again. Lets move on.0
