With O2 CPW... what are my option

Im currently with O2 at carphone warehouse. Ideally I'd like to move over to O2 when my contract expires.

Do know if i can upgrade through O2 or do I have to cancel at CPW to take a new contract up with O2?

It seems to boggle my mind a bit... as im paying O2 the same each month etc.

You have to upgrade through CPW, the only way to move to O2 direct would be to get your PAC code, well thats what O2 have told me anyway.

thats odd, i took out a contract with dial a phone and could still upgrade with o2 directly

cpw used to use their own o2 systems to process contracts but now they use o2 direct. your best bet to check is to dial 202 on your o2 phone and give them your mobile number. if they can access your account then you are with o2 direct if not then cpw. if you are with cpw then you will need a pac code and then you can transfer your number over to o2 direct but if your with o2 direct then go through to retentions to see what deal you can get.

dial a phone sells o2 direct contracts so thats why you could upgrade x
