ASDA bloody storecard sales woman

I like to do my shopping at ASDA but I get really annoyed when you get hassled for an ASDA store card?
I tell them I don’t have long to do my shopping and they still ignore what I say; I tell them I don’t want a bloody store card and they say why do your shopping here then?

And then the week after they see me again, and I say you asked me the same thing last week and the answer is still no.
They get a commission on every card they sell, and I know they have to earn a wage but when you are busy?

I spoke to the manager? But he said it’s nothing to do with ASDA
I tried to walk around them but they followed me around ASDA and kept on at me about getting one.
I'm not poor i'm just skint

The other way is say you've got one.

I do that with Sales people who catch you in the street. I have a new kitchen, double glazing, every credit card you can think of, shuts them up every time!

Or tell them you don't want one, but then give them some patter about the (imaginary) car you're selling. That usually gets rid of them.
  • Tell them you're not a UK resident, you're over visiting reli's, soon gets rid of them :j

I don't respond to these sorts of people at all. They can ask as many questions as they like, but I can just as easily completely ignore them and walk right by them. Have to admit though that I've never been approached in Asdas.

Start asking them to help carry your shopping for you, choose the best tomatoes etc.

I made myself a T-shirt (with an iron on thing) that says

    NO
    I DONT WANT ONE

    The back reads
    Not now
    Not ever

It makes me feel better when I go into town and get stopped by every Tom !!!!!! or Harry.

One guy I threatened to punch him - he told me that If I didn't sign up, he would slap my bum. I wasn't laughing. And told him to try it and see what happened to his face next.
    I got my bum slapped.
I screamed assault - and lucky for me a lovely policeman wasn't far away.

Then I got myself a t-shirt. Now I say nothing - just smile nicely and walk away.

And the real reason for not having an Asda store card is:
The ASDA cards offer a range of APRs from 13.8% APR to 28.8% APR, with a typical 28.8% APR variable.
Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
    They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").
