Madasafish - Sunday Telegraph Wanadoo response

Has anyone seen this Sunday's Telegraph? Madasafish have responded to last weeks letter from Wanadoo to BT - where Wanadoo were giving BT a lashing for claiming to be the first 2Mb provider AND for being so expensive for what it was. This week Madasafish has responded by saying 'Wanadoo, we actually were the first 2Mb provider" AND "Madasafish customers receive much better value than Wanadoo and BT customers for their £17.99 a month; we give a generous 5GB usage allowance compared to your 2GB (and BT's paltry 1GB)"....."So if you really want to make sure that Wanadoo customers get the very best value possible, e-mail them a Migration Authorisation Code and tell them that if they swich to Madasafish, they can get 4 months free broadband..." It's hilarous!
I get a small kick out of seeing all the ISPs fight it out amongst each other - I think we should put them all in the Big Brother house and see what happens!

Madasafish have a cheek - I am one of their unfortunate customers owing to their false advertising - They advertised as the cheapest - but were patently not.
The 5gb allowance is only from last month it was apalty 2gb plus £2 peg gig extra
Only changed after my & others badgering. I still have a complain outstanding against them with ISPA -a useless bunch who protect their own cronies.0 -
Hello Dave49,
I was a bit concerned to read your posting and I would like to take this opportunity to clarify a few points:
1. Madasafish does not offer 2GB packages anymore. All customers who signed up for a 2GB packages were all upgraded to 5GB packages for free about a month ago. 2GB packages on Madasafish simply do not exist.
To confirm if you signed up for MAX broadband, you have 5GB of usage a month and you should be getting speeds up to 2Mb - if you were new to Madasafish broadband you would have gotten 2 months service free and if you migrated in you would have received 4 months free. The free promotions significantly lower the yearly cost of the broadband product. I haven't posted our prices on here at risk of sounding like we're advertising, but they are available on the main Madasafish website for you to review.
I would also like to take this opportunity to say that we do take a great deal of pride in our services and support.
I hope I have been able to clarify our position and please contact us through our customer service e-mail address (available on the website) or post again should require any further information.
Kind regards,
Samara
