.O/topic but superdrug had a good john frieda offer- 1 john frieda glaze for £6.99 or 2 for £6:confused: so i treated my hair to 2!

I saw this, too - seems a fantastic offer but I'm trying to resist.....
  • Hi all,

Just got back from another shopping trip (my 4th trip in two weeks!) and got another set of 2 lip liners and free lip gloss. Just to say, the Hot Plum (barcode 50034673) is going through at £1.00 and the Ruby Rose (50034680) is going through for £1.50. Took a chance as hadn't seen on here is these colours were going through reduced, but since they were the only two colours left on the stand, figured even £1.99 for all three was good!

Also got S&G Jam Session with 400 points back, and got another £2.00 voucher for the Frizz Ease (now have four of these little things so they'll go into my sister's xmas box!)

Have got quite a stockpile now, which is good because I will be making hampers for my 2 sisters and 16 year old neice for xmas! (Also got the hampers at bargain price at Home Bargains - 3 wicker hamper baskets for £5.00)

    SD Wolfie xx

thank you.. does anyone have a pic of the current gwp that is going through (sometimes) free please?

Hi Pas, as I m aware, warrington have the two as shown in my pic, and the pink one is in warrinton town centre only

edited; I have just tried the Giled Ruby nail varnish ,(nailfinity) in the MF GWP black box and it is poss the best nail varnish I have tried you can tell it's quality. So if anyone wants to get a GWP the nail polish is £5.50 I think.

Anyone know what the boots stores in/around the Darlington area are like for clearance shelves etc?

I've not long been in my new job in Darlington, & spend quite a lot of time travelling around the south of county durham - darlington, newton aycliffe, bishop auckland, west auckland etc (prob furthest north I go is spenymoor, & that's not often) although because I commute from Newcastle each day I can go further if there's any good stores anywhere on my way to/from work?

I've really missed bootsing since I started my new job in January - I'm having withdrawals! Thanks to anyone who can help xx

PS: was in the metrocentre today, no sniff of a clearance shelf anywhere - boohoo!

Found some bargains in Boots City Centre Liverpool today. The smaller Whitechapel branch had the best clearance.

    Picked up:-
No7 Radiant Glow Foundation reduced from £13.25 to £3.00 (with my HC discount only cost me £2.70 each) so I bought x 3 (Colours available - Blonde - Buff - Almond and another 2 that I cannot remember (Loads left. 2 colours only were on clearance shelf at the back of store, but all colours (loads)on the main No7 display

No 7 Soft & Sheer tinted moisturiser (medium) reduced from £9.50 to £2.00 (with HC discount only cost £1.80 each) Bought x 2 (On clearance shelf)

Boots Bite & Sting relief reduced from £4.40 to £2.20 (with HC discount cost £1.98) (Clearance shelf)

Bought the Pantene Ice shine shampoo and got the smooth & sleek serum free (Bought x 2)

Used 3 til split haircare vouchers and bought 3 x JF friz ease serums 25ml for £1.95 each. Decided against the tiny 5ml ones, as I already have 3 of them and the larger ones are better value.

I now have enough shampoo to last for years with my existing stash of full size and minis. Just as well I have lots of thick hair, as DH has none. :p

Managed to use 2 x 100pts WYS £7.50 vouchers also. Tried to use the 250pts from the No7 skincare voucher, but no joy. Just wishful thinking, SA said moisturiser wasnt skincare:confused: Just smiled and said Ok, but I wish Boots would make up their mind what skincare meant.

Did not bother with the S&G I tried the Clean of england shower gel last week and it gave both me and DH a rash. This was the first S&G product I had tried and I dont think I will be buying any more. A pity really as it smelt lovely

Has anyone noticed that on the receipt when they show the total saving, they now include £1 for the H & B mag?

Judging by the amount of No 7 Mens range eveywhere and the vouchers in the sandwiches, I feel a reduction/promotion in that range coming on very soon. It does not appear to be moving very fast.

On my way from little Boots to big boots, I took a short cut through M&S and they were just putting out a massive amount of sale items. I picked up a jacket (£39.50) & a pair of jeans (£29.50) for £3.00 each. I was delighted and it made my day. What is even better, they fitted.:rotfl: :rotfl:
So a good money saving sunday all around for me.:T :T

I am so tempted by that - I love hat boxes:D I will use the £3 voucher. Is there a new Sanctuary GWP out cos don't think Durham have any of the Mother's day one left.
