I have started spending points as I go for things that don't have extra points on like my nicotine patches and snoring strips!

Also dented my card massively yesterday when I spent about £37 on clearance items

You must've cleared the shelf. It didn't look like there was 37 quids worth of stuff on there:rotfl:

    I was in London yesterday:

Oxford street/bond street (small store) tiny clearance shelf, all rubbish!
large store, no clearance shelf (didn't see one anyway!)
Kensington high street (large store) no clearance shelf, no MF GWP...nothing!
Notting hill, small clearance shelf. Bought 2x tresseme styling spray 50p each and UG mini shampoo x 2 also 50p each. Would've got an extra 25%off tresseme if dozey guy on till hadn't put them through as beauty!!!!

Shops aren't allowed to open on Easter Sunday, as far as I'm aware.

I think a few corner shops might be open, but not large chains.

Take an old mascara (any make) to Estee Lauder and they give you a free mini HTH
    Has this finished now please?
  • Someone said earlier that this finishes today (16th)
EL counter in Durham had plenty of the minis in stock yesterday, no signs advertising the offer though.

I was in 'Lush' yesterday, and they said they had thought they would be closed on Easter sunday, but have been told (orders from on high I presume) that they must open, as a minimum, from 11-4.

The EL girl said to me yesterday that it was the last day(ie yesterday). There were no real visible signs but on the counter front there was a 2 foot tall plastic display in subtle blue/aqua EL colours. On the front it says about bringing in an old mascara. The back of the display(could only be accessed by the SA) had different compartments with different small mascaras in it. The mascara is a good size and if I had known how good it was I would have made several trips!!!
    k.

Is one of you from Scotland? Trading laws are different up here, as are the statutory holidays.
