Has anyone come across any good bargains to use the haircare tillspit on, apart from the JF serum? Between us we must be causing a national shortage :rotfl:

I now have several of the 5ml serums and two 25ml ones (£3.49 so just add £1.49 in cash) but am wondering if there's a good deal to be had on any of the other products included in the offer.

Also, if you have a tillspit to hand, when are they valid until? They always seem to run out of the cheaper options in the last few days of the tillspit offers so I'm using mine as soon as I get them.

I've been thinking about the JF serum, because I like it very much. Both DD and I have long, very fine hair and this stuff is just magic on it for smoothing down the flyaway bits and for moisturising dry ends. However...the 25ml size is £3.99 in my branch, come to think of it.

    So...

    5mls a@ £1.99 plus using £2 tillspit = free.

    25 mls @ £3.49 plus using tillspit = remaining 20 mls for £1.49.
    OR..
    25mls @ £3.99 plus using tillspit = remaining 20mls for £1.99

    50 mls @ £5.99 plus using tillspit = remaining 45 mls for £3.99

So if the 25ml version is £3.49 then it's the best deal to buy this size if you can get it at this price and want to stock up. If it's £3.99 for 25 mls then it's better to stock up on the 50ml size.

Plus there are two other varieties in the 50ml size...a UV protection version (ideal for holidays I would think) and an extra strength version.

    HTH someone!

if .comloverlee's reading, (or rubylou & Jo_2k) we went to Brid and it was ok :)
Glad Brid worked for you. A combination of bargains and good SA's scores well in my book! The SA's had a confab whilst I was there, and let me have a GWP with the illuminated mirror, even though it was £19.99 - and I paid with points! Jolly nice of them!

There was a bookshop opposite :) but an even better one around the corner - all books (not second hand) for £2 ...!
He's more secondhand and antiquarian, but I love finding a bookshop of any sort, so I can shove him in there and have at least few minutes off the leash!

Tillspit is valid until 29 March.

But if these items are on BOGOF, you will either hand over £1 for the two items, thus saving yourself £1 or, if you are using points to pay, you will hand over 100 points, not 200 points, thus saving yourself 100 points.

The till calculates it as saving 100 points. It even says on the receipt just above the box about the points in another box "Total saving today of xx points".

It's the same as the over 60 saving when spending points.

Today I swapped two old mascaras for the Estee Lauder samples and was pleasantly surprised to see they are good-sized samples (double the size John Lewis gave out when I brought in my coupon from Glamour).

Also found FCUK mini body wash and styling gel for 22p each. At the register it turned out they were 3 for 2, so it was 44p for all. Also used 100 points on the Boots Expert triple blade shavers. I'm satisfied today. :)

I saw a really nice no7 body moisturiser with self tan for £4.63 in the clearance section and tied to get it with the 250pts gwp voucher but no dice. The SA said it was because it was clearance, but checking online I think it's in "bodycare" instead of skincare. Felt really annoyed! So I left it. Will visit a bigger boots later to see what I can find. :D

Has anyone tried the jf night serum & is it any good.I usually use the extra strength frizz ease serum as my hair is coloured curly and very frizzy and this is the only product that has ever helped me.I really don't want a cut and conditioning treatment at the moment as my hair is just the right length so was wondering if the new night version would help further calm my frizz?
342 on john frieda so if i buy 1 night serum £14.99 & 2 extra strength frizz ease it would come to £20.97 minus £2 haircare so £18.97+150 points for night serum &75 for spending over £10 from ac machine so really £16.72?works out cheaper for me this way than if I used seperate vouchers in single transactions for the same items. Also need a few other bits today aswell-excited is not the word!:j
