Don't know what she said, but I'd just look confused and say I thought it was a gift set, not a GWP. That's if I ever spot one .....

Princes St Edinburgh have the MF GWP btw. My sister went in yesterday to try to get one but the SA spotted it. My personal feeling is that Saturday morning would be a good time to try, because Boots will be full of bleary eyed Saturday staff.
Thats what i was going to say if it didnt go through yesterday:rotfl:

Hi Dotchas, I used to work for Chief Medical Officer of a large International Company (in Occupational Health Dept) and if OHD recommended that patient had a phased return to work/annual leave before return Dept Head and HR always followed this recommendation. Have you tried ringing OHD and Dept Head as opposed to your Team Leader/Manager to clarify situation. What would they have done if you had gone abroad?

    Thanks Megane,

I am in touch with OH just now, waiting on them calling back.
Apparantly its not a formal policy to make staff go back to work before annual leave but down to a local agreement:confused: .
They seem to want to wring all they can get out of me.
With my 2 operations I have been off a total of 10 months out of 15 and I have been paid incorrectly for all of that. There is a grievance under way for that!
    Wish I had gone abroad!
I could have used up my bargain Boots suncream from last year!

Back to Boots, yes the Lancome GWP is in store too!

    Hi Sam
I said to SA ,"Ow I thought it would go through free", she said, " no sorry you have to buy the products".... I did not make a big deal as I had points galore to go through and extra points with purchase so just said ah well swiftly moving on then, sayin that she was laughing at me. (or with me)

Finally decided I needed the Lancome GWP so bought 2 juicy tubes and go the bag which has a juicy tube and other little bits and some eyelash curlers too.
I used my points so all free really!quote]

How much was this Dotchas please? Is this the cheapest way to get the bag?
I have over £60 on my card now but seem to be stuck in a rut with loads of points on it but I cannot use them as I would not get more points with the coupons, so I don't get more points if you know what I mean?

    Then my day deteriorated!

Got a message on ans machine from work about my sick leave/return to work.I am currently on half pay as it was my second operation.
I was signed back to work from today and was being allowed (or so I thought) to take my remaining annual leave (full pay)to build up my strength before returning on a phased return on 1st April. The was agreed with Occupational Health,My GP and my Physio.
I am now told I can't do that and need to return today! (17hrs notice)
So I need to see GP again and get signed off which means half pay, when I had hoped to get full pay.

Sorry for the moan,I just wish they wouldn't change their minds like its not important to me if I get full or half pay!

I've been in a similar situation in the past. My GP was adamant that I had to go back on a phased return. No-one was exactly clear what this meant  , but I started back on half hours and built up over the next month. I think there's legislation now to protect your rights in this regard. I'd suggest getting right back on to OH pronto! HTH

I don't know if it's just me but bootsing hasn't been as much fun since the No7 £5 vouchers with highlighter and GWP. No matter how hard I try I can't summon up the same enthusiasm for the 17 3-4-1 as I've got all of the shades of lip glaze now and if I don't use a brush I end up looking more like coco the clown.

I regularly go to 3 different stores and am starting to get 'the look' in two of them.

Could some fab MSE'r please find a brand new exciting glitch to share with me please to renew my interest.

    TIA

    Coco x

    Thanks for the response,

The problem lies with me being told 2 weeks ago I can take annual leave from today until 1st April to use it up and allow me back on to full pay.
Then at 3pm yesterday they changed their minds!
I have been told by OH that my phased return will be 3 days a week(Mon,Wed and Fri). But they wanted me to do Thursday (today) and Friday straight off!
I have now been told to contact HR but I can't get anyone to answer the phone (must be lunch 2 hours!)

Back to Boots ,does anyone know of any glitches on Kalms!
