    I'll second that Hotpot.

I have just pm'd another poster on here with my shopping list cos I'm not posting it on here. I did mention this thread has turned quite nasty and won't post until its business as usual.

Ruby..come on post your shopping list I think it is great comparing shopping lists ( and quite sad that you have had to pm one ) and it gives you hints and tips on what to do... and easy to spot if you are just scanning the thread for bargains before that all important Boots trip..... don't get me wrong I like all the chat too but if you are just looking for that quick bit of info it is usually easy to find in another posters shopping list.

Broclo that made me laugh out loud thanks:rotfl: :T

You put your points across to the point. I can't believe how poor some of the prices go for on Ebay when you take into account all fees to be paid. Even if they were bought in 75% sale some of them are losing and not making a profit. Mind Ebay isn't what it used to be though! Good on anyone who makes a profit that's what its there for.

My shopping list in no particular order lol

Got a few toothbrushes which I'm putting in shoeboxes at christmas. We all use electric ones so don't use these. Will keep one for Puppy though to brush her teeth:D

Got 2 x Sanctuary 4 way nail buffers for 75p each these were on normal shelf not in clearance.

Used a few expert 100 points on Baby expert products no till beeps.

The large rolls of cotton wool @£3.15 are included in 2 for £2. I got 4 so saved £8.60.

Ted Baker cosmetic purse reduced half price £3.50 got 2 of these. All other Ted Baker reduction shelf empty.

Pack of Boots Basic Toothbrushes 7p. Boots Smile pk3 Toothbruses 63p

FCUK 2 items in black packaging reduced to £166 & £1.33

Used 4 of the hair coupons on Lee Stafford reduced stuff so go that free. Plus a few John Freida sprays so paid 49p each one.

2 photo frames @£2 bogof so paid £2.

Our No17 lip liners are still at £1.00 & Eye liners @ £1.15 did a couple of transaction each with free lip glaze. Bored of doing this so got DD 2 x glitter eye shadows and free lip glaze.

Ruby & Millie Angle make up brush half price £5.75.

Boots shiny nail kit reduced to £2.50

Boots expert wipes half price £1.49 and used 100 points coupon.
Boots expert soap 89p used 100 points coupon
Boots expert silky mitt and used 100 points and no beeps on any. Points show on receipt has PC point:confused:

    Max Factor GWP

    Think that's it:rotfl:

    Hi Guys

Wonder if you could help me, I am after adding £30 to my points total to make it enough to treat myself to an ipod. What is the best way to do this? I still have a couple of magazine vouchers, cannot go parenting root, as I think my DOB would rule me out!

Any suggestions as to the best way to achieve this would be appreciated either via a shop or via .com

    Thanks
    DG

Hi :) I'd start by looking for the reduced Nivea Q10, but you have to make sure you find the right Nivea Q10. Or, if you can sell it on for a couple of quid (I haven't yet :o lol) the Nivea Cleansing Lotion (I'll double-check that for you btw) gives you 400 points for £4.99.

The real Bootsers will probably help you more ;) especially regarding Boots . com :)

Ruby, you should post and share!

Thing is...we all have different morals. We should not judge others for theirs, but if we do then we should ignore their comments and move on. For instance...the wisdom toothbrush acm voucher says 'not to be used in conjunction with any other offer'...but are we not all, yes literally all of us, taking the Boots glitch up?

Same as MF GWP's, I would not have the guts myself as the store I shop in is small and one of the SA's(they all know my baby's name it is that small) said there is only one other 'true' coupon user that comes in. But still...even though I would not take advantage of the MF GWP..I think good for you girls! If you have got the balls then fantastic for you!

Obviously removing a coupon goes against another customer, not Boots, so yes it is different. However, in this most friendly thread, if we do not agree with someone or their actions I think we should not pass judgement 'openly' on the thread. Maybe if it is in a 'tut tut oooo naughty you' style, fair enough, but not in a way it may make them feel red faced on the forum.

As for ebayers...my friend ebays things...she is a single mum, just of three months and she m,akes only ten pound a week profit, but it means she can take her little girl swimming. Good Luck to her and all the other ebayers I say.

We are all different and I think we should all respect each other and our different morals.

Now...can we move on because I want to see ruby's shopping list, waaaiiillllll!

I agree in that we are all different and have different morals. However the poster who made the comment re the vouchers is now getting more negative replies than the person the comment was made about so not really fair. The board is here for everyone to use regardless of how many posts they make or when they joined.

The toothbrush offer is simply a voucher that the Boots system accepts so there is nothing wrong with the offer - if the voucher couldnt be used the tills would have stopped it.

However taking coupons from items not being bought (I had 3 items without vouchers in so its a personal bug bear), using the self scan tills to "aquire" items and buying items with extra points purely to return them with the "forgotten advantage card" excuse all are wrong. Fine if you choose to do it, but some people would rather not read about it - Martins site is about money saving not taking.

Not sure what the issue with Ebay is, if people buy reduced items and sell them for profit who cares - except the tax man of course lol.

Am prepared to get flamed like last time as having an opinion on this thread that goes against the grain never goes down well. Havent posted much on this thread since the last time I got shouted at so have nothing to lose really.

This thread is a lovely place to retreat to at night, get cosy and read the chat, offers and product reviews/uses so hopefully it will get back on track soon.

    Hi hun;)

Posted list to another local shopper cos fed up with abuse Scibster(spl) got on here earlier. When the thread turns like this I hate it and don't want to participate. My list was nothing fantastic and as usual never found any glitches lol.

I like the chat on here too esp who likes and dislikes what etc.

I don't like the sanctamonious posts some feel the necessity to post cos actually it isn't nesseccary if truth be told. Look at the computer screen, roll your eyes like I do and move on to next post.

    Hiya KrispiiDuck :)

There were Accessorize hatboxes in Hull today for the same price, but were soon locusted away. I nearly passed out when I saw them going through the till because those reductions just don't seem to happen up here. And it didn't last long when it did lol.

No S&G unfortunately, but take a look at the No7 nail sets tomorrow if you get a chance ;):D

Plenty of stuff for holidays in KR (Hull) if it helps anyone:)

    *Chants* I didn't read that..... I didn't read that:rotfl: :rotfl:
