Just back from OXford Retail Park, where I bought 3 x Valentine's Accessorize hatboxes @ £2.25 each - loads left on the shelf ...

and where I also saw an empty Clearance shelf which had been full of S&G Steamy showers @ £1.87   /quote]

Well done for the hatboxes and hard luck on the Steamy showers - how frustrating to see the SEL but for there to be no goodies left to buy - I would have bought several if I'd seen them, but not seen either of these sets reduced below £9/£7:50 near me. Enjoy!

I hadn't been to Boots for ages so this week end...

Saturday went to Boots in the market place

    shop 1: total £7.86

    shop 2:total £6.79

    shop 3 49p

    today went to Arnison centre

    shop 1total £2.48

shop 2 same as shop 1

    shop 3 total £7.48 ( I know I should have made it up to £7.50:rotfl: )

everytime I have shops like this I think I couldn't have done it without everyone on here pointing out glitches and reading people's shopping lists so A BIG THANK YOU:D

    oops sorry it's so long!!

please don't apologise -I love reading everyone's shopping lists! And you did really well :T- did you have a list? - very organised!

Had a pretty good shop at Boots today, though forgot to use the coupon on my toothbrush <grr>.

used a 50p off coupon I "borrowed" out of the body butter sitting nearby

Lets hope it doesn't bring you out in a rash!

Had to persuade 'mature' SA to try both the ACM vchr + mag vchr for my Soap & Glory heel balm. She was amazed that I had 400 points on a £5 purchase and could not believe that it was possible - but the till did not beep, it was obviously 'right'!

Some new items on the reduced shelves, but nothing that I wanted as mainly baby items, scruffy make up or hanging shoe holders @ £6.

I just want to say I agree! I'm all for money saving but it's not kind to other people buying the item who may know or not know(then it would be a nice surprise) there is a coupon inside. People are already getting this item by using two coupons I think it is cheap enough to not steal more coupons from other products you are not even buying!

I'd just like to say, i'm not saying I agree (or disagree) with what skibster did but I thought us Bootsers were proud of the fact that we were the friendliest thread on MSE and it's not been particularly friendly towards this member today. It was hardly crime of the century.
I was on the receiving end of a completely unecessary comment on here the other day and it didn't make me feel too good and it wasn't nearly as bad as what skibster's had.
Please can we draw a line under it and move on!

I went Bootsing today, got a toothbrush and some crisps to disguise it (shock horror). Saw the easter eggs but no thorntons or lily o'brien.

    I'll second that Hotpot.

I have just pm'd another poster on here with my shopping list cos I'm not posting it on here. I did mention this thread has turned quite nasty and won't post until its business as usual.
