Just back from Camberley and as Lililou said the champagne is sadly still £12.99 and the SA looked at me like I was mad when I asked if that was being reduced along with the Easter eggs!!
Oh well made up for it by buying a load of choc at 75% off! They were quite slow in changing the prices on them - I overheard some SAs saying the easter eggs were reduced so asked them by how much and they said 75%:D They got the clearance signs up quickly but no prices visible for ages - fortunately for me I had seen how much they were before they removed the full price SEL.
Got Lily O'Briens £1.24, 2 tubes of choc mini eggs with finger puppets on for 99p each, 2 Thomas the tank engine buckets with egss/stickers in for 74p each, easter hunt basket for £2.49, ceramic plate, egg cup, mug and chocs set for £1.24 :T
Did it in 2 shops as went round once and then did some shopping elsewhere and decided to pop in again on my way back to the car - they were still not done with all the price labels showing the reductions by then (about 11.45) so I was following the poor SA round and asking him "well how much will this one be?" think he thought he had a stalker!
got 2 JF frizz eases as well with the till spits
edited to say they had a fair few of the thorntons eggs and divine eggs, loads of barbie buckets at 74p, and quite a few of the ceramic breakfast sets and loads of an egg that was shaped like a football and 2 boots.0 -
I got a thorntons and lilly obrian egg for £1.24 each in camden. No eyeliners though ;_;~*Cerenia*~

Hi, I've had this sort of thing happen to me before. I *think* (correct me if I'm wrong though someone) that because you got "offer" points on the No7 item you didn't earn any 'normal' points on that. So, the other item you paid for - the pantene shampoo @ £2.87, you earned the 8 points from that (4 per £1) because you wouldn't earn anything on the 87p, it's 4 points per FULL £ spent.
Hope that makes senseYou can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

You won't get normal spend points on items that you use an extra points voucher for - so when you get the points on no7, you only get the 350?extra, not for the 6.50 spend as well. HTH!0 -
You will have got 8 points for your Pantene purchase, none for the toothbrush and the 350 on mens No7, you don't get 350 + the 4 points per £1 IYSWIM, only the offer points, HTH0

* chip and pin advantage cards
* price check scanner at the end of isles that customers can use
* credit card where you can collect points on all spending not just boots
* nice hunky sales men (well I can dream)
* facility to convert points into vouchers for online use (tescos can do it so it cant be that hard)
Happy easter everyone
A few years back they did have a credit card. It was called Boots Advantage Card powered by egg. IIRC you earned an addition 1 point for every pound spent outside of Boots. On your statement it gave the number of points you had collected that month and 5 days later you collected those points via the advantage point machines. When it first came out, you got 3000 points for signing up. The card only lasted about 18 month as 'allegedly', egg had broken the contract so Boots terminated the scheme.
I don't think you will be able to spend points online anytime soon, as the points value is recorded on the gold chip. The back up central database of each card is updated a couple of times a do or so, but there would be too much scope for abuse from it if you ask me. The only real way to do it would be to go into store and then the till could print off a voucher for you whilst deducting the points at the same time. This voucher could then be used online.0 -

I forgot to mention that the Boots credit card also doubled up as your advantage card, so it was like a two in one!
