Hi everyone i had been trying to go cold turkey at boots but not been very successfull.;)

I went in today after about a week anyway looked all over for a clearance section and there was agroup of SA huddled together saying not to put the reduced q10 eye cream out as it was 400 extra points.
anyway when i got to the tills they had stashed huggies nappies packets at 3.00 each and were saying to one of the sa's to get some other stuff reduced and put it behind the counter.:eek:

As i paid for my toothbrush and reduced soltan and nivea q10 (which i picked up hoping would go through reduced but didn't) and davidoff cool water shower gel reduced to £3 the Sa i was being served said to the sa did'nt you want this :mad:

is it me or is that just plain cheeky

Just back from a lovely massive bootsing session-managed to use some of the vouchers which have been stuck in my purse
first transaction-soap&glory clean of england body wash
max factor panstick foundation
pampers baby wipes
max factor mothers day gift box
used mag&ac vouchers for s&g,200pc for pampers wipes,75ac for spending over £10.totol £13.94-points recieved 706points &haircare voucher

2nd transaction-john frieda frizz ease extra strength £5.98
gilette mach 3 razors £4.89
boots basics shave gel 22p
baby organix crisps 39p
boots paracetomal 35p(x2)
totol £10.18, used haircare £2off, 75points for £10 spend,-gained haircare voucher and 115points.

3rd& 4th transactions- x 3 mini john frieda serums- used 3 haircare vouchers FREE. x2 umberto gianinni pink curl shampoo, used haircare vouchers so
£2.19 each and gained 8 points each time

Also managed to get a free estee lauder mini mascara with the glamour mag coupon thingie.& best of all
Came home to find a parcel full of sanctuary products as an apology for a reaction/complaint from The sanctuary!They sent me Kyphi body scrub, mande lular body souffle, charcoal body mask, creamy body wash, mositurising body spray and salt scrub.

A reduced counter has appeared at the back of the ground floor near the razors and electrical stuff.
There are lots of toys reduced and will go quick!!!
Heres what I bought:

LEGO DUPLO CEMENT MIXER(4976) 80P
GET STICKY STICKER MAKER £2
GET CRAFTY ART SPRAY £2
DOCTOR WHO TOILETRY BAG WITH 2 ITEMS IN IT £2
VTECH DORA THE EXPLORER WHIZ KID LEARNING SYSTEM £4.50.

I paid at the photo counter and they have some reduced things behind the counter. I bought pink sony headphones for £4 and a headset thing for 50p.

There are 3 or 4 hex MF boxes being guarded by the MF SA. I lifted one up and looked at it. She was over like a shot!!! I put it down again as I got one the other day. It was so funny!!!

I go to Hemel now and again, its not a huge store but most of the SA's are nice, they seem to dot their clearance around the store at aisle ends and there is sometimes one next to the No7 counter too HTH

Just remembered this from yesterday - the lovely SA told me that Boots are repackaging all their 'Smile' products (their own brand of toothpaste and dental care) so it will all be being massively reduced this week or early next week, so worth looking out for on the clearance shelves

I think we should be helping Boots clear their shelf space where the MF GWP is concerned, if we find one take it to till and if SA says you have to purchase 2 MF products with this, say "I am happy to do that if you put a voucher inside the box thats within date" Without the voucher isn't the GWP incomplete?
