Oh carp! After looking at the pics...I've just realised we forgot to give the judges mouths! :rotfl:

We glued the eyes on and then left them till the glue was dry.

Daughter won 1st prize thanks to this idea. :T

She was up later than usual last night helping to stick card and hair on and cut out the stars etc so I thought she'd be a bit teary today (she gets like that when she's tired) if she didn't win anything. Needn't have worried, lol.

She got 2nd place for her hat too. She doesn't usually win anything so she is sooooooooo delighted. I'm chuffed for the wee soul.

we never stood a chance.... never even made it to the final. but guess what won??? the egg factor is my sons class.... the nursery only had a bonnet comptition ... ikle one was the only one to take a egg. nevermind it was fun!

will have to try harder next year . how did you get on?
