any ideas where i could buy cheap pots?

Hi

After almost fainting when realising the price of pots the other day, I thought I'd ask for any ideas where I could possibly buy 'seconds' or cheap pots from?
I need quite a few large and small ones.

Tried Freecycle but no luck.

Thanks in advance

What for? I mean what are the pots for, to look nice or just to work?
Plastic pots are cheap. Surprised freecycle hasn't come up with any.

I would like them for lavender etc outside on the patio.

If any come on freecycle - they are gone in secs.

    Cheers

What about the old flower plastic buckets they have in supermarkets? They give those away most of the time if you ask, you have to think outside the box.
What have I possibly got I can plant in? I use old rubbish bins, an old draw from a desk which is a strawberry planter, plastic pots made from old paper recycling containers, old bits of wood knocked into square pots that would cost twenty quid in a garden centre.

You can order direct from the Wilkinson Plus website and they will deliver free of charge for you to collect from your local store.

I had accumulated a whole load of plant pots and put them on don'tdumpthat site ...........they were there for ages then a lady said she'd take the lot ! No really big ones but various sizes so keep trying freecycle or don'tdumpthat or have you put a 'wanted' on the sites ?

Wilkinsons have some cheap ones from what I gather -not sure about Woolworths as ours is a small branch but they might be worth a look.

First try your local freecycle group - lots get given away on ours.
Also try Asda, i noticed they were doing a BOGOF on some large cheap patio pots last week.
