Transport For London Oyster Rip Off

London bus fares are pretty much the lowest in the country.
Even after the increase.
Taxpayer support for the London bus network is forecast at £524 million in 2010/11. That's £73 per year for every man, woman and child living in the Greater London area - irrespective of their bus usage. This can't go on in the current climate.
In de-regulation land (outside London) the networks largely have to cover their costs - and the fares charged are much, much higher.0 -
And the buses are quite regular, you get specialist police teams patrolling them & a decent timetable look up service.
Outside of London your lucky if you can find a timetable sometimes! These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!
I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!0
