tesco broadband

anyone tried this? free connection,15 e-mail addresses,no download limits,free modem,50mb webspace.512k connection.£9.97 for first 3 months and then goes up to £17.97.is it any good?

    I have been with Tesco bb since its inception and have been very happy with it. I had one downtime for 24 hours when they had teething problems at the start but since then no problems at all.

    But, you will get now get people saying its datastream and therefore you can't migrate easily, however I have never felt the need to move.

    Does anyone know if Tesco's are going to up the speed. Agreed they are not the cheapest but they are reliable. Their customer support is abysmal. The only time I heard from support was a year ago when I set the system up - brilliant. Since then have sent a couple of emails - nothing. With current deals am looking to change, but hope Tesco's will up the speed like a lot of other ISP's. Any employees in the know who can answer?
