Which ISA?

I have yet to open an ISA, first time I have had some spare cash. I was going to open the Yorkshire one which is in Martins thread, but have left it a couple of weeks. However, now the interest rate has changed should I wait a bit longer to see what happens? I have £3000 to put in now but may need to use some later in the year. Many thanks for any guidance you can provide.

I think it's a good idea to wait for a fortnight before opening your mini cash ISA - but not too much longer, as delaying too long will reduce the tax-free interest you'll receive. A number of ISA providers will shortly be reducing their rates following the reduction of the BOE base rate. After a couple of weeks, it will be easier to compare ISA offerings and pick the best available one for you.
Keep an eye on the Moneyfacts website. They usually advertise savings/ISA interest rate changes well in advance. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -
