I only want to spend up to say £20 per month for a contract, get a reasonable phone, and not have to play the cashback game.
3 have a £15/£18 per month deal for 300 mix/match minutes.
What experience has anyone of them, or is this beatable at all?
(I do not have a phone at the moment, so cannot go say for the Virgin £10 cable deal, though that does sound quite good). I guess the other alternative is to buy a phone and use for that offer, but in my mind that is a minefield....warranties/unlocking etc.
Thanks

I would suggest that it's pretty easy to get a phone to use with the Virgin deal - even the £12.95 thing at CPW would work (it needs to be a virgin phone, T-mobile, or unlocked to work).
Alternatively T-mobile's contract deals at the moment with £5 off aren't bad either and you can get a decent phone. The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

I'd avoid a contract at all cost. Purchase a PAYG phone on the network that suits you best, then to get the cheaper calls for for a SIM-only contract if you must. You can then cancel after 60days with no penalty (or 30 days after the 1st month).0
