Maxed out credit cards question.

in Credit cards
I have four cards with different balances and interest rates, all up to their max.
Should I attempt to get one to take the other even though I'm pretty sure my credit rating is poor?
Should I bluff that one has made a better offer to take on the debt to get a better deal?

If you haver a poor credit rating and all your cards are maxed out, I would say the chances of doing a balance transfer are small.
Find out the interest rates your paying and try and pay off more on the higher rate card.0 -
you need to consider why your CC are all maxed out.
Review you lifestyle and look for ways of finding more momney to pay towards the debts
look at ways of increasing income... overtime, parttime job, let a room etc
and ways of reducing your spending
obviously if you can get a CC with lower APRs (or even 0% BTs ) or persuade your existin cards to reduce APRs then well and good but you need to look at the reasons for the debts and start from there0 -

Post up the card names, current balance, credit limits, APR and how long you've had each of the card for.
Have you looked at your credit report to see if you've got any defaults or other cards that you don't know about?
Having 4 cards itself doesn't give you a poor rating, what makes you think you've got a bad rating?
You should think about getting a credit limit increase on the lowest APR card and seeing if you can get a fee-free balance transfer to clear the highest APR card. See if you can shuffle these down, will help you."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
I know the feeling of having all the cards pretty much full to the brim mate. As the others have mentioned, if you can't get them to lower their rate then choose the one with the highest rate and put all you can into paying that one off first.DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!
