My tip for those pretty new to ebay and looking to make maximum profits to put towards debt:
End your listings on a Sunday evening, from experience its the best time to list them as you generally have more people online & able to place last minute bids.
If they finish during the day you are restricting your potential sales, and I find that my items in the past sold for lower amounts on a Friday & Saturday evening as lots are less likely to be on the computer & more likely to be out boozing!0 -

Just adding to that, I believe the best time to submit is a thurs night for 10 days then you get two whole weekends and it also finishes on the sunday like previously mentioned.

I've been uploading on a Thursday recently, as like you say, you get the whole 2 weekends. The only thing I am a bit aprehensive about re a Thursday is that sometimes people want their item quick, I know when look on ebay for things I automatically go for the one thats finishing soonest, so I think they may see the 10 days and be put off.
I've got a tumble dryer on at the minute, finshes tomorrow night and currently only has 2 bids at £11.39 but has 19 watchers so I am hoping it sells well!0 -
Hiya, I'm a newbie to the forums but as you can see I'm a skint student in debt. I think I'm going to start with my overdraft- £600.I have already put 2 items in the free ads in my local paper, an exercise machine & a childs rocker. Thats next out on Thursday & I think I'll ebay some stuff on Thursday as well since someone mentioned Thursday is a good day to list stuff. I'll let you all know how I get on!Carpe Diem
I'm Qualified!
