  • This is a fantastic idea, and it is realistic - I did a three-month ebay clear out at the end of last year and made nearly £1,500 after ebay and PayPal fees - go for it!

But I've totally run out of stuff to sell now! Good luck!

    What a great challenge :D

I'm in please. I need to get £170 for my Egg loan payment by the 28th of this month, but after that I would like to be able to clear my loan with LloydsTSB which currently stands at £766.82 so I will set my challenge target at £937.

Have got a few bits to list but need more. Have got a load of carboot stuff so will rifle through that later and see if any stand a chance on Ebay.

  • I know some people have said to try freecycle for things that could be sold on ebay, but can anyone tell me if you have tried looking at the local coup/tip on a sunday afternoon for things to sell?

I took a whole load of stuff from a car boot to our local one after out last venture and the guy said he got all the boot sale rejects at the same time every week.

I don't know if i would have the balls to go up at the weekend incase i met anyone i knew.

Good luck to everyone doing this challenge.

What I tend to do with my Ebay fees is pay them as I go. When someone pays via Paypal (which most do now), I just clear my account with some of the money and count the rest as profit. Obviously some needs to be taken off for postage but then we charge the buyer for that anyway.
