Wow you are doing well Jamie! And glad you've paid your Dad off now - that's a weight off.
I just saw the message you left me on Saturday. Yes the funeral was nice. I met some lovely relatives I'd not seen since I was about 5 and we had a nice meal and then went to the crematorium. Dad's coffin was very pretty which made DD2 feel better - although she was sobbing by the end which was hard. I had to take very deep breaths to hold it together LOL. Now I just feel very sad and I miss him. I have this stifling feeling that I want to talk to him and I can't.
On a less miserable note... I restocked storecupboard with essentials yesterday and made a lovely fishy pasta bake. Got chilli in slow cooker today and have ordered a big crock pot to do the bigger meals and roasts etc.
Got both younger kids off school with Mum looking after them while I go to work. Have a good day!Wendy x0 -
:grouphug:Cat a dodgy hug for you. Regards talking to your Dad. I "talk" to my mum all the time, she passed away 6 years ago, I talk to her in my head. It may sound daft but it really helps me.
Sorry Jamie a small hijack of your diary. I'm normally a lurker really but always read diaries becaise I find them so inspirational. Well done.Pad, started 28.11.08 running total £3674.91:T

Hello everyone,
First off hug for Cat :grouphug: hope you are ok xxx
Sorry JD, haven't been around much but still trying to catch up on the diaries! I seem to have a huge fight on my hands everytime I wanna get on the computer and DD is being sooooo hormonal at the mo best leave her to it! HUGE well done on paying your dad off! That's fab!
I too need to do some decorating. I have decided to move DD into the spare room as think I will have a better chance at making it nice for her and will also be visiting Ikea! Want to get on with that over the Xmas break I think? But it is gonna take me ages as have to remove wall paper etc
oh dear
You are doing sooooo well! Especially for making payments in December! I am trying take a break this month and just make minimum payments but it would be fab to make an overpayment to one of my cards...we will see!
Anyhooos I am gonna get out of here as I am at work at the mo and feel like I am going insane! Luckily we have flexitime here and can leave a bit earlier! I am gonna pop to Argos to pick up a new tree hopefully, I think I mentioned to you about my cat breaking the last Xmas tree...and have found one in Argos knocked down from £40 to under a tenner! Slim one so hopefully less chance of him breaking it!
Take care xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -

I hope you managed to get that bargain tree!
Where are ya Jamie? You ok?Wendy x0 -
morning all:)
I was so busy yesterday I didnt get time to post!:D
Went straight to Ikea from dropping dd at school.....
Spent £248:eek:
This is what I got......
For Ds3 bedroom: Wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk, chair, rug, wall light, shelf for above desk and a wall cupboard.
For my room: desk, chair, unit to holder printer and a plant!
Money totally well spent I thought and ds3 room looks amazing!!!!!:D He is really pleased with it and that makes me really happy.
Got back in plenty of time and picked dd up from school and spent the rest of the afternoon and part of the evening watching a friend putting it all together for me
The room only has a few things left to do in it, I need to gloss but want to wait until the weekend when the kids are away for the night to do that. Tv bracket needs to go on the wall, wall light needs to be put up, waiting for curtains to arrive so I can put them up too and then its finished!
The room was really appauling before and needed new everything apart from bed and bedding. I think it has cost me about £250 in total and that included the new lino:D I still have enough paint and radiator paint to do my room too!!!
Made my Pad to creditcard this morning £10:)
Am having a non decorating day at home this morning. lots of orders to do and housework which I have neglected a bit this week while I have been concentrating on doing ds3 room.
Donner - nice to see you back hun! I know what kids and computers are like, its hard to get a look in sometimes!!!
Cat - how are you this week?
Better get on with lunchbox making, weather is disgusting here this morning and its blowing a gale too. looks like i will be taking older boys to school today!!!November NSD's - 70 -
Good to see you Jamie! You put me to shame with this decorating I wouldn't know where to start!
I'm fighting the "sad" this week - just trying to keep my mind on very mundane things. Meal planning and work and stuff. Work is very busy - surprisingly, as I work for a Financial Adviser placing investments!Wendy x0 -
cat - the decorating really needed doing!!! Hope you are feeling ok today hun xx
Yesterday was a good day, lots of orders made up and sent off:) housework done, washing up to date and started painting my bedroom, so much for my non decorating day lol:D got one and a half walls finished (needed 4 coats:eek:) but that meant I could move my wardrobe back into my bedroom. It has been in ds1&2 bedroom for about 5 months lol, my clothes have been sitting in baskets under my bed lol
Sorted out last piece of furniture from ikea, a unit for housing my printer. thats put together now and in my room next to my desk:D
This morning I made my Pad £10 to creditcard:) Will be going to B&Q again this morning to buy some more paint! I want to crack on with my room again today:)
have a good day everyone:)November NSD's - 70
