morning all:D
£1.62 to money pot this morning...I cant believe I have paid an extra £158.16 towards debt/savings this month just by doing the Pad!!:T
Im having a DAY OFF today:D Its dd's first full day in school and my first whole day to myself since May!:D
I have nothing planned, no housework, no post office run, no cooking, no nothing:D The day is completely mine!!!:):T
Yesterday I found a tin of dried skimmed milk so will be using this instead of buying milk this week!
10 days left in November. I know I will have to go and buy fruit, veg and bread before the month is up and I only have £1.51 left in the budget:eek: not going to get much for that eh?
I have done extremely well on debt repayment this month though....:D
Decembers budget is looking really good:) There is a lot of scope to repay debt with and to tuck a bit away into savings too.:T
Have a great day everyone!!!:j:DNovember NSD's - 70 -
Happy Day Off Jamie!
Sounds like your finances are doing great debt wise. Well done on the dried milk - sounds handy that being able to just make it up as you need it. You'll have to add a bit extra onto your grocery budget I guess then as it's only 20th?
I've not been around for a couple of days because I've been in hospital with my Dad. He passed away yesterday. I'm trying to get my head back around the day to day finances and cooking/meal planning but I feel very disorientated. Hope normality resumes soon.
Have a great free day (though it'll fly by I'm sure!)Wendy x0 -

Hello to schoolrunmum:wave:
Cat - How are you today? Sending another hug across cyberspace xx
Paid £2.50 to pot today, have taken £9 out and going to pay that off overdraft this morning.
Yesterday was really good. Had a completely relaxing chilled out day, reading, drawing and generally vegging out:)
Today I need to go to the post office. I may pop back to the library again as I have finished a couple of books already and want some more for the weekend!
Spent 55p at the shop yesterday so need to update GC total.
Have a good day everyone! xNovember NSD's - 70 -
Mornin Jamie and everyone!
Immersed myself in sorting out my banking - transferring between accounts etc. Reading my book - How to Feed Your Family de dah de dah three saucepans garlic crusher etc etc.... and keep my mind on the normal and mundane aspects of life because if I let my mind wander I start to come apart.
Went to Aldi and got some of the super saver veg - used their peppers to make lovely fajitas. Aldi veg is so good!
I've been up at 5.50am assembling the ingredients for tea in the slow cooker. And just really appreciating that I have my kids. Whilst I am naturally very sad to have lost my Dad, my heart goes out to Mr and Mrs Peak who wake up every morning without their boys and I'm counting my blessings.
Have a great day Jamie, hope you get some good books - me and the kids are reading constantly just now!Wendy x0 -
morning:)
Cat - glad you are coping ok. I love reading although I must admit its mainly non fiction although I do read the occasional novel usually some kind of conspiracy theory type.
went to tescos yesterday and spent £12.63 which takes me right over my budget:( had some good news though.....
postman bought me:
- pin number for debit card (i know its on its way now:D)
- letter for closure of old account! yay!
and the best part......
- vouchers from tesco totalling £27 off decembers grocery bill!!!!!!!:D I will have to do things slightly different in december and do a weekly shop instead of one huge one and a few little ones..... im so pleased with the vouchers though:D
i have a lot of little jobs to get done this weekend, but the sun is shining and it looks like a good washing on line day!
Paid £1.04 into money pot this morning and yesterday withdrew another £100 cash for my dad. cant wait to give him a big stack of cash next week!!:D
have a good saturday everyone!November NSD's - 70 -
Morning all!:D
Had a lovely lie in this morning:D Its nice to not wake up to an alarm sometimes.
Paid £1.00 to money pot this morning, although I fear that will pretty much be the last payment I can make in november:( Things are very tight for the last week.
Had to add more money onto GC yesterday as I needed chicken feed, the price has gone up so thats another £7.24 onto the total!! will adjust signature.
Cooking needs to be done today...got so much other stuff done yesterday that I didnt get round to the cooking bit!
Today will be a NSD, although I know I wont make the 20 this month, ive been too disorganised!November NSD's - 70
