Morning all:)
Made my Pad this morning,
£1.00 to money pot
£26.00 to credit card
that takes me over £140 so far this month.:D I wont be making another payment to creditcard now until after the bill comes in around 1st of december.
Yesterday was NSD number 7:D Today wont be as its non school uniform day for dd and children in need so will be buying pudsey badges for the children. will also be popping to tesco for bread and enough fruit and veg to see me through until next wednesday!
Cant believe it the 14th nov already, only 16 days to go! I have £28.29 left in my grocery budget:) Im sure I can come in under budget!
Off to post office after tescos and then 'hopefully' on to the library for some peace and quiet:) Ive been trying to get there all week, but something else has continually got in the way!
Didnt go to slim club yesterday as the brekkie meeting at dd school went on longer than we were told, but it was really good and informative!
Hope you all have a great day!November NSD's - 70 -
£26 to credit card is fantastic!
Is your store cupboard and freezer stocked enough to last another couple of weeks?Wendy x0 -
morning:)
I hope so cat! Am planning another baking session this weekend and will hopefully be using up some more stocks. I think in about 10 days I will be able to judge how well I have done and see if I can stretch it out to last until the end of the month.
One thing I did notice as I had a look around the cupboards etc yesterday was that novembers big shop included a lot of items that would last more than a month, I may be able to bulk buy quite a bit in december:) Will need to find a points code for decembers online shop, need to start looking about for one now...must get that points balance up!November NSD's - 70 -
Ooh can you get points codes? I just got a Tesco voucher which entitles you to some free points. Of course, I forgot to scan it yesterday. I wasn't buying sensible groceries either - it was Gallo Chardonnay on special offer! Do peoples Grocery Challenge budgets include alcohol? Or is that an unnecessary expense?
I'm looking forward to hearing what you bake this weekend (nosey bint I am).Wendy x0 -
morning all:)
cat - peoples grocery challenges include whatever they want them to!:) And yes you can get points codes for deliveries although they arent as readily available as they once were and you have to search to find one!
confession time: i think i am going to go over my grocery budget:(
Went to tesco yesterday and spent a horrifying £23.23:eek: then onto lidl and spent a further £3.55!!!!!
This takes my total grocery spend to £198.49:eek:
I have £1.51 left:(
I bought a lot of wholemeal bread in tesco as decided to change us over to that from white from now on. Lots of fruit and veg more cheese and eggs and cashew nuts for ds2 lunchboxes as he loves them! (they were on offer though):D
I really need to be very careful now and am sure that i will take myself over the budget of £200!
15 days to go.......
Anyway on another note......£1.45 in the money pot this morning:) All bank accounts looking fairly healthy and debts coming down (which is the main thing).
Off to update signature.....November NSD's - 70 -
woohoo!
phoned the bank this morning to request a new cheque book, while i was on the phone I asked if i could upgrade my cashpoint card to debit card as its a pain with my other bank account having the debit card when i dont use it and would rather close it. he took a lot at my account and said i run it really well so yes i could have a debit card, also said he noticed i had one day in the last year when i went overdrawn and incurred a charge of £35. he then refunded that charge:D
so i have just transferred £26 to my isa and left the other £9 in the bank:D i am really happy, oh and just had the post and got a cheque for 35p for closing an old account:D
yay!!!November NSD's - 70 -
Oh Jamie that is fab!! How many times does something like that just happen? Serendipity!!Wendy x0

cat - i know:D incidentally do you have lots of cats? I have 6 love them!!!:D personalised central heating!!
a great day in the kitchen.....
made mushroom soup again, this time used some chestnut mushrooms....enough for 6 large portions for lunch for me (2 in fridge. 4 in freezer)
HM lasagne for dinner with HM chips:D was delish!!:D
A cauliflower cheese.
tomorrow i will be making a spag bol and start on the baking for this week:D
planning twinks and cakes of somesort!
Its been a great day! got lots of washing on and dried. Im currently ignoring the ironing as it is my least favourite job!
I have also spent a good hour doing a mindmap of my future colouring in and all:D its now pride of place on my bedroom wall next to my FI chart (your money or your life) and my goal mapping chart:D Im very into visual displays of where im going and how im gonna get there. All three are directly opposite my bed, i can see them every night before i go to sleep and look at them 1st thing in the morning. it constantly keeps me focused on what i want!:DNovember NSD's - 70 -

morning all:)
£2 in money pot today! I now have £7.72 in there after taking out £14 the other day. I may go into town on monday as I need to go to the bank and ask for a paying in book for my Isa, apparently you cant do this over the phone, I also have a cheque to pay in! If I do go to the bank I may take some more money out of pot to pay into Isa. Its nice to see the savings go up a bit. I dont really want to take money out of it, but its comforting to know I have a small emergency fund:)
Orders have come in slowly this weekend, so will be spending the evening making candles and I do find this soothing and theraputic, plus it encourages me to sit down and slow down, something which I often have trouble doing! I guess thats why I love my job:D
I still have a rather large pile of paperwork to trawl through, i might get on with this during the morning (im sure a lot of it is going straight in the recycling bin!)
Watched a couple of 'videos' on the mindful living network last night. Really interesting watching!
I will be doing a goal map today for my plans to redecorate upstairs (mine and ds2 bedroom to start with) I also need to have a bit of a declutter in my bedroom:) Another job for today perhaps!
Hoping to have another NSD today, managed one yesterday. I will be taking ds3 and dd to the shop to spend their pocket money but I wont be spending any of my money:D
Have a great day everyone! xxNovember NSD's - 70
