A Petrol station hasnt taken money from my Credit card.

Its been nearly a month now since I used the card at a petrol station using their 'pay at pump' system. The same station has also not taken money from my partners debit card. It was an automated card machine.
Is there a limit in which it has to show on my credit card? Im not too fussed when they take it, but my partners debit card account is finely balanced and an unexpected debit could put her in an awkward position.

Was it Asda you used, it takes about a week for the money to leave my account so i dont use them anymore as it confuses me, Tesco normally comes out same day hope that helps0
