Money Saving the Game - Strategy Guide

I thought I give you a quick overall view of my strategy on how to play the game, hopefully it might improve some of your scores.
The e-mail: this is the most regular bonus you can get, mirroring the fact that the site itself has a weekly e-mail. Grabbing this each time and continually getting yourself double bargains is the most powerful way to boost the score. It's best use in conjunction with the Money Diet book as then you can just zoom around the screen grabbing all the double bargains without anything in the way.
Jump: The jump function is incredibly important it enables you to move around the screen and avoid bad bargains by jumping over them. It also means when you want a credit card you can grab it earlier plus getting yourself more time. Also remember you can still move about whilst you're in the air
Don't focus on the cards initially: remember you can only ever have 60 seconds on the clock, so in the initial stages building up your score is very important. There's no point in grabbing a 12 second card when you don't need it because you've only used up five seconds. Don't focus on the cards too much to start with, but when you're in the main flow of the game try to grab when you can.
Sometimes it's time to stop shopping: as the game builds up speed towards the end sometimes you find yourself starting to lose points rather than gain points, so just like in real life, sometimes the best move can be just stop shopping to really save money.

Oh Martin, what should be being a little easier than real life has me flummoxed. It's got me totally lost and all I ever hear is "that was an absolute pile of cats"!
One of these days I'll get there, good job it's a leap year...as that's all I'm doing at the moment - leaping all over the place and getting nothing!!!
