Hi all,
Just called 150 on my Orange contract sim, however the time and date in the minutes checking has already been the same, any idea why that is please?
is 150 minutes remaining checking updated real time or?
also, any idea when will i get my monthly minutes being credited? does it depend on when I started my contract? or is Orange using a monthly period of some kind??
many thanks,
GP

150 is not real time, shouldnt be more than 48hrs out of date i think
the new mins will start on your bill date, depending on where you got your contract from will depend how they might have set it, if you have your direct debit date its roughly 2weeks before that date,
if you ring customer service just ask for your bill date and they can give it to you straight away, or if you have already had a bill it will have your bill date written on it
so say for example your direct debit date is the 30th, the bill date will be roughly the 15th so your mins and bills would run from the 15th to the 15thYes Your Dukeiness0 -
Generally the bundle enquiry line is within 24hrs more often than not. If you listen out, it will say "your remaining minutes as of ____ on the ___..." (ie "as of 9.47am on the 11th of march...") which will tell you how close they are.
Around bill dates (ie when you get the new mins), it's always out - generally tells you the prev days total and takes a while to update.
Also, if this is a new contract (i dont know if you know, but) it will be 'pro rata' for the first month till the first bill date. Have you had your welcome call yet? you can ask them then if not.
If you have already then equally you could call billing (150, opt 1, then 2 i think) and ask but as a word of warning, they have hideous wait times atm, try at 8am or just after (when billing opens) if at all possible as they're quiet then.On the up
