Help needed re Broadband downloads

Hi

I am looking for a broadband provider that offers 'true' unlimited downloads as my current provider is introducing a 'fair usage' policy.

What I am looking for is a 1mb speed, with a fairly reliable service.

Can anyone recommend a supplier? I have heard that ADSL4LESS & Freedom2Surf are meant to be good can anyone comment on this?

Many thanks

The first thing to say is that all ISP's will have a clause in their T&C's allowing the possibility of taking action against heavy users. My own opinion is that fair usage/throttling policies will become common.

In addition to freedom2Surf consider Zen but they are expensive.

This is true. Every ISP contains this clause in their T&Cs whether they enforce it or not.

I use Zen. They are nowhere near the cheapest ISP in the UK, but their service/speed and reliability are top notch. We have two computers connected all the time. One is mainly used for online gaming, and the other for downloading. We have never had any problems with the line being throttled, or any warning for overuse.
