My kids drive me crazy with this stuff, it is utter rubbish but it is all they will eat on their sandwiches, given them "real" ham they bring it home sandwiches untouched put this on the bread yum yum all gone!!!!
ANyhow we gave in in the end they eat no processed food for virtually everything else so gave in and let them have this stuff on their sarniesANyway we always get it when it is on offer bogof etc etc it freezes great just makes sure it is an air tight bag because it is quite high in moisture it dies freeze really really well
Or has been suggested carbonara, ham and cheese pasties pies maybe in a jacket potato with a bit of cream cheese for quickness, slice some up with cream cheese and a few chpped chives and shove in a chicken breast mm mm mm loads of stuff vurtually anything you would do with ham you can do with this.
You could also fry it like pancetta it should go crispy I suppose then shove it through soma pasta with a couple of spoons of chili phili maybe??

Thank you in advance
I'd love to know what this is, too; I'll look out for it tomorrow
As it's fallen from the front page of OS, I'll add it to the existing thread to give you more ideas.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
I do a open tart type of dish with it, i just get some puff pastry, spread some tomato puree and dried herbs, slice some tomatoes, sprinkle some cheese, chuck on the ham and bung in the oven for 20mins, its so easy and you can add as much or as little as you like:j:j:j0
