Veryunsure - hope you get a full refund if they were dead... stack -that sounds like an attrocious experience compounded by the way they've then treated you.
I'm sure some of these flower companies do manage to deliver on time sometimes and maybe they deliver flowers which won't die for another day or two, but I think, with flowers, the only way to ensure what you get is what you pay for is to get them in person because it seems like it's easy to give a faceless person the dregs and blame busy periods or suppliers. Even if it costs a little more and is a bit more inconvenient, I would do it that way as I don't think the service and quality that many of these places seem to deliver is worth much. After posting about receiving an email to my MSE username/email from 'Money Expert' (note the use of ' '), I am now unable to post on MSE. Such is life.0 -
I am furious at Tesco flowers. I helped order a bunch online for my mum to send to her sister two weeks ago. They were due to be delivered today. Guess what? They haven't arrived. It was my aunt's special birthday today and for my mum it's been ruined.
I am going to be speaking to them first thing in the morning. I wish we'd used Bunches instead who have always been reliable in the past.
Tescos flowers are rubbish and I will never use them again.0 -
Spoke to a manager this morning and was told that Tescos are ceasing their flower delivery service at the end of this month due to problems with their contractors and couriers. I told her that this is not stated on their website and despite them knowing full well there are serious problems with their service they are continuing to take peoples money which I think is disgusting.
So be warned - steer clear of Tesco flowers. The sooner it's gone, the better. It's a rip off.0
